Keith’s studies culminated in a career in structural engineering.
He was later employed by an architectural practice where he was able to develop his skills as an illustrator. His illustrations proved successful and he was able to make the leap into freelancing.
Today, over 20 years later, Keith Hornblower is now established as a leading architectural illustrator in watercolour and was awarded Fellowship of the Society of Architectural Illustration, having produced a diversity of work from painting palaces for sheikhs to Chateau Latour, for the World Atlas of Wine.
His non-illustrative work is increasingly in demand and he has received a number of prestigious commissions including Brocket Hall, Bayfordbury Manor. Keith is well known locally for his involvement in charity auctions where his work has raised substantial sums for good causes.
