Amie Haslen: Amie Haslen is a painter and printmaker inspired by the landscape surrounding her home in Suffolk and Welsh vistas especially around the town of Aberystwyth where she studied Fine Art.
“All of the views that I have chosen to depict in my work, are locations that are meaningful, in terms of identity and sense of place. They are places I have known well, discovered and love. I always start by drawing from life then my prints and paintings are planned and built up through layers of colour.”
