Lynda Jones: Lynda Jones was born in Sunderland in 1970. She was educated at Monmouth Comprehensive School and completed an Art Foundation course at Newport College of Art. This was followed by a degree in Visual Art at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth.

“I like to seek out places that aren’t so well know and record them, sites that are familiar , but are hard to place. ……The artworks are never just a straightforward view of the landscape, there’s always a story behind them. I leave that to the viewer to guess what it might be ! ” – Lynda
