Susan’s work captures wildlife in brooding skies, reflecting a mood or a moment, using drama and detail.
Every mezzotint begins life on a fully grounded, toothed copper plate. The image is created by burnishing and scraping the surface to form tone and shape .
Each impression is hand printed on an etching press using Somerset Velvet paper and Charbonnel ink.
