Amie Haslen

Amie Haslen is a printmaker inspired by the landscape surrounding her home in Suffolk and Welsh vistas especially around the town of Aberystwyth where she studied Fine Art.

"All of the views that I have chosen to depict in my work, are locations that are meaningful, in terms of identity and sense of place. They are places I have known well, discovered and love. I always start by drawing from life then my prints and paintings are planned and built up through layers of colour."
