Karl Heerdt

Karl Heerdt was born in Western New York, in 1962. He is an artist, sculptor and teacher, known for his tonalist & illuminist landscapes in oil. Karl’s depictions of the Western New York region, Niagara Falls and Yellowstone National Park are collected across the USA, and now available in the UK, through Norton Way Gallery.

For more than twenty years, Karl had been a cabinetmaker but has successfully transferred his professional focus to creating works of fine art, depicting atmospheric, engaging and dynamic landscapes.

He is an associate member of the Oil Painters of America and his work can be found in private and corporate collections throughout the United States, Canada and Europe. He presently resides with his family in Kenmore, NY.
