'Since making my first pot at the age of seven I've been excited by the challenges and possibilities of working in clay. I am from a long line of potters and was first taught by my father but have gone on to study at Oaklands college and Hertfordshire University. I currently teach ceramics at Court Yard Arts in Hertford.
I produce thrown ceramics in porcelain and stoneware inspired by both British studio ceramics and Korean master potters. Like many potters I particularly enjoy the challenge of throwing tall bottles and vases and developing glaze effects.'
